Multi-Purpose Gear Oil

Properties

FOSSER MZ 80W-90 GL 5 is made from carefully chosen base oils and additives. The EP additives in the product form a load-bearing lubricant film on the tooth flanks that prevent scoring even under extreme mechanical load and significantly reduce abrasion. The gear oil is extremely ageing resistant, even under high thermal load. The good low-temperature viscosity is achieved through the high degree of refining of the base oil and the added flow improver. The gear oil contains highly effective active agents that suppress foaming and protect the lubricated machine parts against damage from corrosion.
FOSSER MZ 80W-90 GL 5 does not cause damage to conventional sealing materials.

Use instructions

FOSSER MZ 80W-90 GL 5 is recommended for gear systems with hypoid or bevel gears in drive systems in passenger and commercial vehicles, motorbike drive systems and manual gearboxes, unless the use of an engine oil is prescribed.

Universal high-performance engine oil

FOSSER Gear Oil TDL 80W-90 TDL is designed for universal use along the entire power transmission line (Total Drive Line), including synchronised and non-synchronised manual transmissions, axle and transfer gearboxes in passenger cars and commercial vehicles. It is particularly suitable for gearboxes with filter systems.
Do not use in transmission systems with intarders!

Special hypoid gear oil

Properties

FOSSER Gear Oil 85W-90 LS is prescribed for heavy-duty hypoid drive axle gear systems with self-locking differential. It contains special additives that reduce slip (Limited Slip) and prevent noises when driving around bends.

Use instructions

FOSSER Gear Oil 85W-90 LS meets all requirements of hypoid gears with multi-disc locking differentials. It is also suitable for use in combined manual and axle transmissions and for vehicles with transfer gearboxes. To streamline the product stock, FOSSER Gear Oil 85W-90 LS can be used in drive axles that require an API GL 5 fluid.

Hypoid gear oil

Properties

FOSSER Gear Oil 85W-140 GL 5 is made from carefully chosen base oils and additives that prevent tooth flank damage. The EP additives contained in the gear oil form a load-bearing lubricant film between the tooth flanks when the gears intermesh. It therefore prevents scoring even under extreme mechanical loads and significantly reduces abrasion wear. The gear oil is extremely ageing resistant, even under high thermal load. The good low-temperature viscosity is achieved through the high degree of refining of the base oil and the added flow improver. The gear oil contains highly effective active agents that suppress foaming and protect the lubricated machine parts against damage from corrosion.
FOSSER Gear Oil 85W-140 GL 5 does not cause damage to conventional sealing materials.

Semi-synthetic Multipurpose Gear Oil

Properties

FOSSER TSG 75W-90 GL4 is a semi-synthetic low viscosity gear oil for manual transmissions and normally loaded axle drives.
Compared to conventional transmission oils Fosser TSG 75W-90 GL 4 offers the following advantages:
