In the SRC NOS (Nürburgring Endurance Series), smillaesports showcased why they are one of Germany’s rising stars in sim racing. In the highly competitive SP10 class (Porsche Cayman 718 GT4), Ansgar Altrichter stood out with consistent podium finishes and a well-earned first victory. Meanwhile, in the Renault Clio Cup, Leon Harhoff delivered exceptional performances, securing two second-place finishes amidst thrilling battles on track.
HAMMERTIME in LMP2 – Spectacular Racing on the Global Stage
One of the season’s biggest highlights was smillaesports’ entry into the CAS IEC Endurance Series, partnering with Belgium’s renowned Mühlner Motorsport. The team immediately made their mark by dominating the LMP2 field and taking a commanding victory in the opening race. However, the second race was nothing short of extraordinary: Despite challenging rain conditions, Ansgar Altrichter stormed through the field, climbing from sixth to a podium finish in a nail-biting final lap. This incredible comeback solidified smillaesports as a team to watch.
ADAC Sports Cup: Stellar Team Effort in GT4
In the ADAC Sports Cup, smillaesports demonstrated their depth and talent. With four teams competing and a hard-fought third place earned by Felix Seesing and Akram Zinoune, a FOSSER Worldwide driver, the team proved their prowess. Akram, in particular, impressed with a remarkable comeback from the back of the grid to claim a podium finish – an outstanding debut for the young Spanish driver!
A New Adventure: Rallycross with RGS Design
Never afraid of a new challenge, smillaesports took on the ADAC Rallycross Cup in the bold colors of RGS. The team excelled in this fresh format, with five of their six vehicles advancing to the finals. A standout performance came from Paul Diederich, who clinched second place. Known for his motocross skills on two wheels, Paul’s transition to Rallycross was nothing short of impressive.
